Celebrating African heritage through film, history and culture
By becoming a member of The Sankofa Cinema Club, you will enjoy exclusive film screenings, community events, and networking opportunities. This digital safe haven is exclusively created to correct the media representation of the African Diaspora and reverse the intentional erasure of Black History. Our club is dedicated to celebrating African and African-American cinema, fostering cultural exchange, and supporting emerging filmmakers.

The Sankofa Cinema Club curates content that defies myths, half-truths and misconceptions from all walks of life of the African Diaspora.
The ongoing debate whether Jesus is Black or White is always a hot topic. A small town in Sicily has something to say about it through The Sankofa Cinema Club.
Did you know that Queen Nanny is a national hero in Jamaica? When it comes to The Sankofa Cinema Club, you just never know what you are going to learn and discover about within the African Diaspora!
If you want to learn and see more of this and what the African Diaspora has and continue to offer the world, we highly suggest you join us on this journey of setting the record straight and giving credit where its due. We are just getting started.
Join us for upcoming events, from community gatherings to special sales. We can't wait to see you there. If you would like your event or gathering to be added on this list, please email me the event details.
